Insertion Thermal Mass Flow Meter in India.

Over two decades of unremitting efforts in the fields of technologies and automation have inspired the LEOMI founders to start a manufacturing venture in search of industrial measurement solutions (Insertion Thermal Mass Flow Meter) that optimize lives. LEOMI provides affordable and reliable solutions with the expertise of MTS Engineers Pvt Ltd, which has promoted reputed companies for industry-specific technologies. LEOMI strives to hunt down the harsh conditions of industries by customizing industrial processes with German standards of Soft flow in Gandhi agar, Gujarat. LEOMI is a 9001:2015 company that ensures that products and services meet customer needs through an effective quality management system.

Insertion Thermal Mass Flow Meter

LEOMI thermal mass (calorimetric) flow meters work on the physical principle of thermal dispersion from a heated element to an ambient medium (such as air or gases). It is affected by velocity, density (temperature and pressure), and the characteristic of the medium. The amount of energy required is a function of the temperature difference T and the mass flux.

The gas flows through two RTD Pt-100 one reference (Tref) and the other heater (Th). The temperature difference (over-temperature) t between the reference sensor (medium temperature) and the heater sensor is controlled continuously. According to King's Law, the higher the mass flow rate, the greater the cooling effect of the heater sensor, thus requiring more power to keep the differential temperature constant. Hence the power of the heater is proportional to the gas mass flow rate.

As we can see next, there is a relationship between velocity(m/s) and power (mW) of flow. If velocity increases, power increases, and viceversa. And when the velocity starts decreasing, the power will decreasesimultaneously. We have shown here velocity 0-70 m/s and power 100-1000mW.Bubbles in the pipe indicate the flow of air or gas. In which the red bubblesshow the heating effect on the flow by the heater sensor.
